Notes

> The role of Ronnie Winslow - the Winslow boy of the title - marked the professional stage debut of Andrew Cryer, a 14 year old pupil of the local Graham School. Thirty boys from four Scarborough secondary schools were auditioned for the role by the director Robin Herford. In an interview at the time, Andrew hoped he would go on to a career as a professional actor, which he did and returned to his home town in 2008 to appear in Jack Lear before returning to the company again in 2014 and joining Alan Ayckbourn's company at the theatre in 2016.
